Sandhill cranes foraging in our field was such a pleasure to see. Especially when, at times, we have our doubts about our ability to breathe life and abundance into our dilapidated field. These cranes were found munching in February, when the days were too cold or unpredictable to do much growing. They have since moved on to their spring-time homes.
